3 Days
You can download our complete tour details and guide for BENOG TIBBA TREK. Also, you can schedule a callback from UFO Adventure Travel.
On this holiday we will go up to an altitude of no more than 2200m. Therefore, altitude is not a problem. It is an easy trek with no more than 4-5 hour walk on both days. It is the perfect itinerary for anyone looking for a weekend camping and also, beginners looking for an introductory trek. Families can also consider this trek to take their near ones on an adventure. You will be advised by the UFO guide to rest and keep your body hydrated, walk slow and steady and eat well. There is fair bit of walking to be done every day, and we would encourage you to do a bit of walking/running and breathing exercises to enjoy this trek. A decent level of fitness will help you enjoy the trekking holiday better.
Trek the lower Himalayas
Perfect introductory camping weekend
Great views of the Garhwal Himalayas
After an early morning breakfast, we set off for the village of
Koti. After a briefing by the guide and team we set for our trek to Dudhli
village. The trail passes through beautiful forest sections with view of the
Doon Valley to the south. The train is mostly flat with some gradual ascent. On
arrival we set up camp. After lunch, you can laze about the campsite and relax.
Post breakfast, we start
our trek to Benog Sanctuary. Trekking towards Cloud End, we make our way
through the sanctuary to Benog Top at 2200m where a temple for Jwala Devi is
situated. The top provides a vantage point for some stunning views of the
valley below and snow capped peaks. After having our packed lunch, we descend
to our campsite at Dobhighat following a
beautiful forest trail. At the camp there will time to explore the vicinity.
After breakfast, we head back to Dehradun for your onward journey. if you want to extend your stay in Dehradun, please contact UFO office.
I wanted to introduce my 9 year old girl to trekking & camping and make it like a yearly family ritual. UFO team made this experience for us so memorable. It was a short 2 days trip to Benog Santuary where we trekked through quaint villages and beautiful trails and saw some amazing views. Weather was super too (end march). We had a great time, specially my daughter. Thank you UFO.
UFO are great partners when seeking adventure. I did an expedition to Mentok Kangri in Ladakh, day hike to the double living root bridge in Cherrapunji, Meghalaya and camping in Hemis national park in Ladakh. UFO are very hospitable in accommodating their guests specially at high altitudes.
UFO is certainly the organizer to go for treks with if you want personalized and customized services. We did the Goecha La trek in Sikkim with them. The guides, food and equipment was spot on and the trek leader had specialist knowledge of the area. The days were planned way better than other groups we spoke with. Despite the high-end service, UFO prices are extremely competitive. Just go for it!
Our representative will get back to you within next 4 working hours and solve all your queries about Goecha la trek
