Itineraries - Experience is key!

Our unique, original itineraries – whether for small groups or crafted individually – allow travelers to take journeys that venture beyond the immediately visible. We concentrate on the locations we have come to love and understand. Our treks, climbing holidays, discover toursyoga retreats & photography tours are full of local stories and interactions. Our itineraries allow travelers a chance to meet like-minded people from across the world. We also specialize in creating itineraries from scratch to provide a truly unique experience for a group or individual. We are more than eager to explore different destinations and tag along for an adventure with you!

Small groups

Our guided tours are mostly limited to a group size of 10, allowing our guides to create a more immersive tour that dedicates itself to you and allows you to fully experience the cultures, and get to know the people and the region you are travelling in.

Guides and equipment

Our experienced team of guides in India, Jordan and Tanzania share a love for the outdoors. Our guides in Tanzania have over 200 summits of Mount Kilimanjaro to their credit, and are the most fun-loving people you will ever meet. Our folks in Jordan are well-versed with the rich ancient history of the country, and you will come back all the more wiser after a trip to  Wadi Rum. A conversation with the guide while climbing a 6000m-plus high Himalayan peak in Ladakh is one you will never forget.

At UFO, we use the best camping equipment that provide for complete safety and comfort. We use 4 season 3 person Mountain Hardwear tents for expeditions and 5 person Vaude tents  for treks on twin sharing basis (at select destinations). We want to give you ample room and comfort while camping at 5,000m in sub-zero temperatures. All camps usually include a mess tent with tables and chairs, a kitchen tent, a lounge tent (depending on the trek) with board games and books, and a toilet tent with a fully chemical portable toilet (on selected itineraries).

No hidden costs

We believe in honest and value-added pricing. We quote our prices upfront and you will not be asked to pay anything extra. Our itineraries cover accommodation, land transport, meals and entry fees from the day you land at the airport at the destination till the day you depart. A few discover itineraries have a different meal plan, which will be clearly intimated to you should you choose to opt for them.

Responsible travel

Key to how we operate is that we care for our crew, for the environment and for the communities in which we operate.

Our values are:

·         Leave nothing behind

·         We’re the visitors, let’s be respectful at all times

·         Deliver a breath-taking experience for our clients

·         Benefiting local communities and environments

We want to visit these wonderful places for a reason – we must help keep them precious.

We are proud to be a small independent company and are not looking for investments from venture capital firms or increasing our valuation. We feel privileged that we have a passion for traveling and exploring new places. And we want to share this with you!
