Suitable for people of all ages.
Walk through meadows and quaint villages for great views of Bandarpunch, Black peak & more
We pick you up from Dehradun at a pre designated spot and drive up to Pantwari village, starting point of the trek. From Pantwari we will start our trek for Thath. The trail today is reasonably steep and will take us about 3 - 4 hrs to cover it, moving at a leisurely pace. The trail will pass through villages to reach Thath. Overnight in tents.
After an early breakfast, we will hike up to Nag Tibba Top (3050 mts). You will get to see the famous Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Neelkanth, Black peak and many more peaks from here. From Thath in the beginning you pass through forests and meadows to reach the Nag Tibba Top. After spending some time at this vantage point you will trek back down to our camp.
We pack up the camp and start walking down back towards Pantwari village. The walk back will take us around 3 hours. We take an easy stroll and take in the magnificent views for the last time on our holiday. After reaching Pantwari, we head for Dehradun to catch the evening train or the late night bus for New Delhi. If you want to extend your stay in Dehradun, please let us know.
Fantastic 2 days spent in Doon Valley on the Benog Tibba trail in Uttarakhand with some great camping experience, views of the Himalayas.UFO Team was extremely warm, helpful and professional. This was our daughters (who is 9 years old) first camping experience, she rated this one of her best trips. Thanks UFO Team.
I have done two treks with UFO. One in Ladakh and another in Nepal. And now I am sure I want to do my third trek with the same team. Thank you UFO and the team for taking care of me!And I do recommend this company for treks any day.
Really appreciated the flexibility on the Markha Valley trek in Ladakh. Was very simple and easy. UFO arranged for a hotel back in Leh as well for the extra night. Appreciated that it was all included in the overall cost. Also you get the friendly counsel which is worth the slightly higher fees to have the peace of mind of having someone to call to talk about your trek, before, during, and after, to plan the next ! I would definitely use UFO again when traveling to a new or unfamiliar destination.
Our representative will get back to you within next 4 working hours and solve all your queries about Goecha la trek
