Trek to Nag Tibba is probably the finest weekend trek in the country. With beautiful meadows and thick jungles along the trail, it offers numerous scenic camping locations and can be customized on the basis the fitness levels. This trek is suitable for people of all age groups having reasonable fitness. Nag Tibba trek is a fairly moderate trek. The climbing gradient while going up is moderate with a few steep patches in between making this trek suitable for all including enterprising and moderately adventurous families. At Nag Tibba Top you will have the whole place to yourself with just an odd Gujjar / shepherd sharing the magnificent views with you. The panorama of the Himalayan snow peaks of Garhwal and Himachal region is sure to keep you busy with the camera. Some of the famous peaks that are visible from here include the Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Srikanth and Black peak.
On this holiday we will go up to an altitude of more than 3000m with the summit of Nagtibba at 3050m. It is a moderatley easy trek with a few steep patches and can be attempted by people of all ages with reasonable fitness. It is the perfect trek for a first timer and looking for a camping experience. You will be advised by the UFO guide to rest and keep your body hydrated, walk slow and steady and eat well. There is fair bit of walking to be done every day, and we would encourage you to do a bit of walking/running and breathing exercises to enjoy this trek. A reasonable level of fitness will help you enjoy the trekking holiday better.
We pick you up from Dehradun at a pre designated spot and drive up to Pantwari village, starting point of the trek. From Pantwari we will start our trek for Thath.
